A brand new women-only daytime cycle
Saturday 13th June 2026 🚴♀️💛
This June, we’re launching something completely new, our very first Ride the Roses from Manchester to Leeds. A 70km cycling challenge bringing riders together for an unforgettable day.
This route has been carefully designed to give you a real sense of journey between two iconic cities, with a steady, well-paced profile that spreads the challenge across the whole day. While this is a naturally hilly part of the country, we’ve shaped the route to keep things flowing with more steady, manageable climbs, so you can focus on enjoying the ride, soaking up the atmosphere, and taking on the challenge at your own pace!
Along the way, you’ll be fully supported with feed stations, mechanics, and our incredible Ride Angels by your side every step of the way 🚴♀️✨
We’ll set off from Manchester and finish in Leeds, where you’ll be celebrated for taking on an amazing challenge.
Optional coach transport back will also be available at an additional cost.
Start waves
The event opens at 8am on 13th June 2026, with the first wave of cyclists starting at 10:00. There will be additional start waves at 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30. Start wave places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

When taking part in this important fundraising event for Women V Cancer, we ask you to commit to raising a minimum of £199 by the event date.
About Ride the Roses
This route has been designed to give you a true sense of journey between the two cities, with a steady, well-paced profile that spreads the challenge across the day. While this is naturally a hilly part of the country, we’ve worked hard to reduce sharp inclines and create more gradual, rideable climbs, making it achievable and enjoyable for a wide range of riders.
As always, the route will continue to be refined, fully recced, and risk assessed closer to the event to ensure the very best experience on the day.
