Trek Vietnam: Sapa & Summit Fansipan1st Oct 2026

From:£1,695+ Registration Fee
Summary
This is a challenge of contrasts: the energy of Hanoi’s old quarter, the quiet resilience of mountain communities, the high-altitude triumph of Fansipan, and the tranquillity of emerald bays and limestone islets.
Your journey begins in Vietnam’s buzzing capital before heading north to Sapa, where the adventure kicks off with a warm-up hike and days of trekking through lush rice terraces and bamboo forests. Along the way, we meet the ethnic minority communities who call these valleys home, staying in local homestays and absorbing daily life in the mountains.
The challenge peaks literally with a two-day trek to the summit of Fansipan, where we camp above the clouds and rise early to conquer the final climb. The reward? Unbeatable views, heartfelt pride, and a cable car descent you’ll never forget.
We round off our adventure aboard a boutique cruise through the peaceful waters of Lan Ha Bay, with time to kayak, swim and reflect on the journey so far.
Rated 4/5 for difficulty, this challenge is perfect for those with a good level of fitness and a taste for the extraordinary.
