Cycle the jordan desert

Summary
This extraordinary cycling challenge takes you 321 km across one of the world’s most captivating landscapes.
Beginning in the historic town of Madaba, we’ll explore ancient mosaics before descending to the shores of the Dead Sea for a restorative float. From here, the challenge intensifies riding between the shimmering water and the rugged hills of Moab. An optional climb to the mighty Crusader fortress of Kerak adds a rewarding test before we continue to Petra.
We will spend a full day exploring Petra, the “Rose Red City” carved into the sandstone cliffs over 2,000 years ago. Every turn, from the Monastery to the Treasury, reveals the amazing craftmanship and echoes of Nabataean civilisation.
Our journey continues with a thrilling ride into the Arava Valley with sweeping descents, winding roads, Bedouin camps, and vast, open desert. One of highlights will be spending the night at Roberts Rock, beneath one of the clearest night skies on earth. The final push south leads us through the Great Rift Valley to Aqaba, where the deep blue of the Red Sea marks the end of our epic challenge.
The end of our challenge is marked with a celebration dinner for us to reflect on our achievements. There is a free day afterwards to relax at the beach or take an optional visit to the majestic landscapes of Wadi Rum.
We are taking more than a bike ride together. This will be a journey of culture, history, physical challenge, and joy. Expect powerful memories, lifelong friendships, and a deep sense of satisfaction from completing a remarkable Coast-to-coast journey across Jordan.
