Summary

This challenge takes you on a spectacular cycling journey along India’s Konkan coast, where the Arabian Sea meets lush green hills and vibrant fishing communities.

The route includes a mix of coastal roads, jungle tracks, river crossings, and hill climbs, offering varied terrain and stunning scenery. You'll pass through historic trading towns, bustling local markets, and secluded beaches, with plenty of opportunities to experience India's rich culture and warm hospitality.

Accommodation is in comfortable hotels, plus one night of adventure camping by the beach. The challenge ends with a well-deserved celebration in the tropical paradise of Goa.

This challenge has been graded 4 out of 5 in challenge difficulty. Temperatures will be hot and being near the coastline means high humidity too. We will enjoy well maintained tarmac roads and amazing views but also several hilly climbs. There will be opportunities to rest and support vehicles will always be with the cycling group to take participants on to the next rest stop.
