Cycle India: Mumbai to Goa
Cycle along India's Konkan coast from Mumbai to Goa. Over nine days you ride around 380km through lush forest, across rivers and past quiet fishing villages, with the Arabian Sea beside you for much of the way.
The route mixes coastal roads, rolling hills and flat stretches on well-maintained tarmac, with several climbs along the way. Expect hot, humid conditions. A support vehicle stays with the group, with regular rest stops and a lift to the next one when you need it.
You stop at seaside temples, ride through the port town of Ratnagiri and cross the Vashishti River by ferry. You stay in comfortable hotels and beach resorts, including a simple beach house at Ambolgad. The ride ends at Arambol Beach in Goa, followed by a free day to relax.

What about insurance and visas?
Travel Insurance
You must arrange personal travel insurance that covers health, accident, loss, cancellation and repatriation. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance as soon as you register to ensure coverage from the moment you book.
Dream Challenges provides details of a recommended insurance policy that covers adventure cycling and cancellation due to medically diagnosed COVID-19. You can find more information here: Dream Challenges Preparation Site (https://www.dream-challenges.com/preparation).
You are also welcome to arrange your own insurance, but it must cover cycling in India. Please check with your insurer to confirm.
Visa
It is your responsibility to obtain a tourist visa for India if required. Please apply well in advance to avoid any delays. UK citizens need a visa for India, which can usually be applied for online as an e-visa. Please check the latest requirements before you apply.
