Ride across the heart of Sri Lanka in nine days, from the west coast to the beach at Trincomalee. You cycle about 415km through tea country and hill towns, with a visit to a tea factory and a stop at the Peradeniya Botanical Garden.

The route climbs from the coast to Nuwara Eliya, then drops towards Kandy and Sigiriya. Day 3 is the big day, with 79km and 1,751m of climbing. Every other day is shorter or flatter, and a support vehicle stays with the group.

You stay in hotels on a half board basis, with lunch on each riding day. A free day in Trincomalee gives you time on the beach before the drive back to Negombo.

Bikes, mechanics, guides and luggage transport are all included. You only need to arrange your flights and get yourself to the first hotel.
