Cycle Portugal's Silver Coast is an 8-day ride from Porto to Lisbon, following the Atlantic on some of Europe's finest coastal cycling paths. Over five relaxed riding days, roll past clifftop chapels, fishing beaches and lagoons alive with birdlife, and through the Pinhal de Leiria pine forest, home to the country's longest continuous bike path. Climb the short Serra da Boa Viagem for sweeping sea views, ride the cliffs above Nazaré, home to the biggest waves ever surfed, and finish in the surf town of Peniche. The riding is largely flat or gently rolling, on dedicated paths and quiet backroads with the sea rarely out of sight.
