If you choose to self-fund, we ask you to please also fundraise as much as you can for our Women V Cancer charities, aiming for £1,000.
This isn't mandatory, but 100% of the funds you raise will go directly to the charities' work and make a huge impact for them at a very tough time.
Are you ready to cycle over 400km from Ho Chi Minh City to Angkor Wat for people facing cancer in 2024? It's time to take on our all-time favourite cycle from Vietnam to Cambodia for Breast Cancer Now, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, and Ovarian Cancer Action!
We’ll cycle through two of the world’s most fascinating countries, immerse ourselves, in two enthralling cultures and achieve a phenomenal feat in support of people facing cancer.
Our Vietnam to Cambodia cycle is one of our most popular adventures of all time and it's no wonder why! Kicking off in Ho Chi Minh City, the cultural capital of Vietnam, we’ll ride away from the bustle to the beautiful Mekong Delta.
We’ll follow rivers lined with banana plants and palm trees and catch a boat from Vietnam to Cambodia’s infamous capital, Phnom Penh. Our spectacular, mostly flat route continues alongside the river through peaceful local villages and orchards to an epic finish exploring the ancient temples of Angkor on our bikes.
Along the way, we’ll pass local pagodas, visit the Floating Market on the Mekong River and pay our respects to the victims of the Khmer Rouge at the Killing Fields near Phnom Penh.
This women-only challenge is a special opportunity to make a meaningful difference for the Women V Cancer charities, whilst exploring two of the most incredible countries on Earth and gaining life-changing insight into their local cultures and history.
Giving back to the planet
We've designed this challenge to give back to the places we visit. Not only have we picked fantastic suppliers local to the area; we're also off-setting the carbon of the ground operations; so rest assured that we are minimising the impact of your cycle!
Vietnam to Cambodia has been classed as moderate. The distances you will cycle each day will be tough and temperatures will be high during the day with high humidity. You will enjoy a rare break in the cycle on day 6 on the Mekong river. This challenge is particularly popular for the relatively flat ride all week on mostly good tarmac roads.
Pay the registration fee (£349) and airport taxes/fuel surcharge (capped at £475), and fundraise £3,600 or more for Women V Cancer.
