Epic india: the rajasthan cycle challenge

Summary
From the shimmering marble of the Taj Mahal to the blazing hues of Jaipur’s palaces, this unique cycling challenge offers a kaleidoscope of experiences across India’s most regal region.
Our adventure begins with a visit to Agra and the incomparable Taj Mahal, one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. After soaking in its beauty at sunrise, we travel deep into Rajasthan to begin our ride in the countryside near Ramsagar. Here, the adventure truly begins.
We cycle through a rural landscape of mustard fields, wandering camels, painted temples, and tiny villages where life continues in rhythms unchanged for generations. Reaching the ancient city of Karauli, we overnight near its magnificent 14th-century fort and wander narrow lanes lined with faded pink havelis.
From Karauli, the roads grow wilder as we ride to the edge of the Ranthambhore National Park, one of India’s most famous tiger reserves. A thrilling route leads us onwards through Talabgaon, where we spend the night in a converted Rajasthani castle, to Dausa, a lesser-known gem filled with echoes of a forgotten royal past.
Our final day of cycling delivers us to the green outskirts of Jaipur. After a celebratory ride into the countryside, we explore the bustling bazaars, palace complexes, and towering forts of the Pink City.
This challenge is a cultural odyssey on two wheels: a rare blend of ancient history, rural life, spicy food, colourful markets, and the spirit of India.
