How your sponsorship helps

£5 could give people with breast cancer the vital answers they need right now by funding five invaluable information resources.

£20 could help prepare a tumour sample from the Breast Cancer Now Tissue Bank. Scientists can request samples from the Bank for their research, so they can see what happens in real tumours, helping the discoveries they make reach patients quicker.

£30 could help pay for one of our researchers to attend a face-to-face meeting in Parliament to show MPs our cutting-edge research projects, and persuade them to take action on breast cancer.

£55 could help a younger woman with breast cancer feel less isolated by attending a residential course with expert information, support and a space to connect with others under the age of 45 with a diagnosis.

£200 could help us to develop better treatments for patients in the future. With your donation, we can pay for enough of the drug tamoxifen to power hundreds of experiments.

£600 could give a woman with secondary breast cancer the expert information she needs and a space to talk openly with others at eight ‘Living with Secondary Breast Cancer’ sessions.

£1,250 could help 35 people through one of the most difficult challenges they ever face by funding our free helpline for a day.

So please don’t stop holding fundraising events, sending your online page around or asking for sponsorship! Thank you again for your fundraising so far – it really does make a huge difference.

If you’d like any fundraising materials such as leaflets, balloons or banners please email sports@breastcancernow.org or call 0345 092 0804 – we’d love to help.
