Women V Cancer 100k Your Way

Challenge level: 1 out of 5

When can I go?

24 July - 31 August 2020 On Sale
Duration 39 days

£1 for every kilometre you conquer

Women V Cancer 100k your way is free to enter and there's no minimum sponsorship target. We just ask you to raise as much as you can, aiming for £100 or more (£1 for every kilometre you conquer).

However much you're able to raise, you'll be helping our charities to ensure that nobody has to face cancer alone.

The money you raise is split evenly between our three charities and helps fund their vital work. For example:

£30 could buy a bottle of specialist dye to stain cancer cells, so that Ovarian Cancer Action’s researchers can study them with a microscope.

£100 can enable Breast Cancer Now to send out another 1,000 leaflets to GPs to promote breast checking and inform about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.

£500 will enable Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to provide a weekend of training to two new Helpline volunteers supporting hundreds of women.

Women V Cancer 100k Your Way

Raising funds, raising awareness, raising spirits.

Make your kilometres count this August and join our very special virtual event for Women V Cancer.

We challenge you to conquer 100km in 10 days before the end of August, to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust at a time when they need it most.

No one should have to face cancer alone. Women V Cancer 100k your way is your chance to make a big impact for people affected by cancer from wherever you are in the world. Ride. Run. Walk. The choice is yours.

Everyone's invited, so why not create a team?

Whether you live together or connect online, you can conquer your 100km with your partner, family, friends and/or colleagues - you can even get your dog involved!

We may be apart for now, but we can still come together as the Women V Cancer community and make an extraordinary difference to the lives of women facing cancer, right now.

By taking part, you’ll be helping our charities continue their vital work raising awareness, funding research and providing support.

Together, we’ll ride, run and walk thousands of kilometres for women affected by breast, ovarian and cervical cancer.

Together, we hope to raise £100,000 for Breast Cancer Now, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, so that no one has to face cancer alone.

We therefore encourage you to use Women V Cancer 100k your way as an additional fundraising event and raise even more vital funds for our cause.

If you can, please use the money you've raised for your cancelled/postponed 2020 challenge, for one of our Women V Cancer 2021 challenges instead. Browse our exciting variety of Women V Cancer 10-year anniversary events here.

However, we understand that you may not be able to take on a 2021 challenge and so in this case, you may add the funds you have already raised as an offline donation on your Women V Cancer 100k your way page.

Please do your best to fundraise some more over the ten days through your Women V Cancer 100k your way account and make your kilometres count, for Breast Cancer Now, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust
