Cycle the USA Canada to Mexico 2024

Possibly the most epic challenge we will ever offer and a real once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Kicking off in Canada, we’ll cycle south through the United States of America to Mexico. We’ll have no transfers on this Dream Challenge — just our bikes and our expertly-crafted route along the Pacific Coast.

We'll cycle approx. 2,825 km in 34 amazing, sweaty days! Cycling mostly along the coast, we'll soak up sea views and conquer approx. 83.6 km (52 miles) every day for 6 days a week. Even heroes need to rest, so every 7th day will be free to kick back and explore the sites of the west coast.

Prepare to discover the iconic landmarks of Lincoln City, Oregon, and Santa Rosa California, Santa Rosa, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, San Diego and Tijuana.

This is the sort of thing you only read in magazines, but we’re making it a reality. Don’t worry about booking accommodation, carrying luggage, fixing punctures, or finding medical assistance. We’ll provide all this and more! And you don’t need to be a pro cyclist — we’ve designed our itinerary so people from all cycles of life can achieve this with our usual cycle training plan. You will need to allow 6 weeks of your time for the challenge, and we’ll make them the best weeks of your life!

We'll reveal the full details and our expertly crafted itinerary very soon.

This charity bike ride is not designed for Olympic athletes – it is designed for people looking for an amazing overseas challenge to train and get fit for. A number of the people who will take part in this challenge will have a low level of fitness when they sign up.

We'll cycle for six long days at a time and tackle steep hills, so we strongly recommend you train, and please try to go for longer training rides. Once you sign up, we'll send you a cycling training plan, which builds up over time and will set you up for success. Remember, the more you train, the more you'll enjoy the real deal!

This adventure is the perfect motivation to get fit, experience the USA in the best way and raise vital funds for charity.

A cycling helmet is essential. Cycling shorts are also recommended and everyone will need their own water bottles or a CamelBak-type hydration system.

Apart from that, no specialist equipment is required. We will supply you with a list of everything you will need to take before you go.

Cyclists will have the use of quality 18 or 21-gear bikes and we recommend you bring the saddle or gel cover you are used to riding on, so you feel at home on your bike.

In addition to paying your registration fee (£599) and your challenge costs (£7,450), you'll need to budget for your:

  • Airport taxes and the fuel surcharge (capped at £475).
  • Tourist visas for the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Personal travel insurance.
  • Gratuities.
  • Personal expenses.
